Mr. Murari Lal Lohia, an IIT graduate, a visionary technocrat and an acclaimed industrialist, is the founder of Jupiter Wagons, India’s leading railway wagon manufacturer, and Jupiter Electric Mobility, one of the pioneers in launching electric vehicles in India.

A prominent figure in Kolkata’s business and cultural landscape, he is an esteemed member of major industry chambers and has been deeply involved in associations like Anamika Kala Sangam, Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad, and Padatik. A proud Kolkatan, Mr. Lohia recently became President of East Bengal Football Club, where he aims to elevate Bengal’s football to international recognition through his transformative leadership. A Rotarian for over five decades and a committed philanthropist, he is dedicated to various social causes.

Having been associated with Anamika Kala Sangam almost since its inception, Mr. Lohia’s “dream and make it a reality” philosophy has propelled Sangam’s most significant cultural milestones, including introducing the Russian Circus and Bolshoi Ballet to India. As President of Sangam, he is focused on preserving its legacy while driving it to new heights with his innovative vision and leadership.

Mr. Sushil Dhandania, Executive Chairman of Rubber Reclaim Co. (I) Ltd. and Vice Chairman & Joint Managing Director at RD Tea Ltd., is a seasoned entrepreneur with diverse business interests spanning tea plantations, real estate, and construction. A past President of the Merchants' Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kolkata, Past President of Bengal Rowing Club Kolkata and a Committee Member of the Tea Association of India, he brings decades of leadership experience to every role he undertakes.

Mr. Dhandania has been a dedicated Committee Member of Anamika Kala Sangam for over 40 years. His enduring association with the organisation has been instrumental in promoting cultural and artistic excellence. Now, as Sangam embarks on its revival journey, Mr. Dhandania’s deep institutional knowledge and strategic insight play a key role in preserving its legacy while steering it toward new horizons. His commitment reflects his vision to sustain and enhance Kolkata’s cultural heritage.

Sharad Khaitan

Mr. Sharad Khaitan, a distinguished businessman with over five decades of experience in engineering, metal fabrication and synthetic yarn industry, has been a cornerstone of Anamika Kala Sangam since 1979. He has been an integral part of the organisation for over four decades where he served as both a Board member and Director. A connoisseur of performing arts, Mr. Khaitan has contributed significantly to the rise of Sangam's glory in the 80s-90s by facilitating numerous acclaimed performances by artists of national and international repute.

Mr. Khaitan was instrumental in organising Sangam’s Silver Jubilee celebration in 1992, a landmark event that brought celebrated actor Madhuri Dixit to Kolkata for the first time along with the acclaimed music director Bappi Lahiri.

Currently, he serves as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of El Salvador in Kolkata and is a past President and past member of the Governing Council of the Agri-Horticultural Society of India. His mentorship, rooted in Sangam’s rich legacy and aligned with its renewed vision, is poised to guide the organisation to new heights.

Ravi Todi

Mr. Ravi Todi, Managing Director of the Shrachi Group and a leader in the engineering and agro-machinery sectors at BTL EPC Ltd., is an integral part of Anamika Kala Sangam’s revival strategy. His vision aligns with the organisation's goal of fostering cultural excellence in Kolkata. Mr. Todi’s connection to Anamika Kala Sangam is deeply personal, inspired by his father, the late Mr. S.K. Todi, a founding figure of the organisation. He is committed to preserving its legacy and reinstating Kolkata’s stature as the Cultural Capital of India.

Actively engaged in multiple prestigious organisations, Mr. Todi is the Past Chairman of the West Bengal State Council and now a member of the National Council of MSME at the CII. He is a gold member of the Young Entrepreneurs' Organisation (YPO) & EO Kolkata Chapter. He also contributes to the Cricket Association of Bengal & the Member of CAB – Finance Committee. He is also the Past President of Merchant Chamber of Commerce and Calcutta Swimming Club.

Sanjay Agarwal

Mr. Sanjay Agarwal, Managing Director of Manabarrie Tea Co. Ltd., brings a rich blend of leadership and cultural insight to his role as Chairman of the Organising Committee at Anamika Kala Sangam. A former Chairman of Sangam’s Youth Wing, he has been deeply involved in nurturing talent and fostering a vibrant cultural environment within the organisation. His current role builds on this legacy, as he curates impactful programmes that seamlessly merge tradition with modernity, ensuring Sangam’s continued prominence in Kolkata’s cultural landscape.

With extensive expertise in the tea and jute industries, Mr. Agarwal oversees the Kacharigaon Tea Estate in Tezpur, producing nearly one million kilograms of tea annually. His contributions to the jute sector include leadership roles in the Indian Jute Mills Association and the National Centre for Jute Diversification (Ministry of Textiles, Government of India).

Mr. Agarwal’s enduring commitment to Sangam reflects his passion for the arts, guiding the organisation toward a vibrant and inclusive future.

Harish Bhuwalka

Mr. Harish Bhuwalka a professional event organizer and owner of Rainbow Moments, is renowned for his professionalism and business ethics. He has built an ecosystem of entrepreneurs who deliver exceptional experiences, earning admiration from clients and peers alike.

As Programme Coordinator of Anamika Kala Sangam’s Committee, Mr. Bhuwalka brings decades of expertise and passion to the organisation. A founding member of Sangam’s Youth Wing, he has been instrumental in curating some of its most iconic events. Notably, he organized a five-day ghazal festival in Kolkata, brought legends like Pankaj Udhas and Anup Jalota together, and introduced a young Sunidhi Chauhan to Sangam’s stage.

Though often described as a one-man army, Mr. Bhuwalka credits his success to the collective efforts of his peers. His dedication continues to enhance Sangam’s legacy and cultural impact.

Sanjay Kumar Chiranewala

Mr. Sanjay Kumar Chiranewala an alumnus of St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, has been a vital part of Anamika Kala Sangam since 1985. As Director of the Youth Wing, he played a key role in nurturing talent and promoting cultural growth. Now a Board Member, he continues to support Sangam’s artistic vision.

As founder of Rashmishree Creations Private Limited, established 44 years ago, Mr. Chiranewala transformed the home décor industry, making quality trims and tassels accessible across India. Rashmishree is now a household name, serving over 350 leading stores nationwide. Beyond his business success, Mr. Chiranewala is deeply involved in philanthropy, empowering farmers through the Gram Samriddhi Foundation. His journey exemplifies the blend of entrepreneurial success and compassion for meaningful societal impact.

Dr. Madhuchhanda Chatterjee

Dr. Madhuchhanda Chatterjee has been the Executive Director of Anamika Kala Sangam since 1994, shaping its artistic vision and curating numerous cultural programs. An experienced editor, she has significantly contributed to Sangam’s publication, RASA.

With expertise in arts and culture, she has been a Consultant with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, for Rabindranath Tagore’s 150th birth anniversary and served as nodal officer for a digitisation project under the Indira Gandhi Centre for the Arts, Government of India. A faculty member in the Department of English at Rabindra Bharati University, she has authored multiple publications on theatre and literature. She has curated the Theatre Museum of Natya Shodh Sansthan (a theatre archive in Kolkata) and worked extensively in the social development sector.

Dr. Chatterjee’s continuity as Executive Director, combined with her rich experience, is instrumental in preserving Sangam’s legacy while embracing its renewed vision, guiding the organisation toward a vibrant future.
